FDA issues full approval of Pfizer vaccine. What’s next?

More from this show

Full approval of the Pfizer Covid-vaccine by the FDA is expected to increase the number of vaccinations in the U.S. We talked about that and other Covid issues with former State Health Director, Will Humble.

“About 30% of adults who are unvaccinated right now say that they would be a lot more receptive if they had access to a fully approved FDA vaccine,” Humble said.

Humble said he is watching the numbers daily to see if the vaccination numbers reflect the sentiment of waiting for a fully approved vaccine.

Humble also predicts that there could be an increase in private businesses mandating vaccines following this announcement.

With regard to other vaccines and their FDA status, Humble says he predicts the Moderna shot could be approved by Halloween.
