New bill makes hazing illegal in Arizona

More from this show

After years of being one of the only states without anti-hazing legislation, Governor Ducey recently signed House Bill 2322 into law. The bill makes hazing illegal, and in some cases, a felony.

The bill, known as Jack’s Law, is in reference to Jack Culolias, an ASU student who died ten years ago after drinking too much at an ASU fraternity pledge. Attorney Pat McGroder joins Horizon to talk about the impact of the new bill.
