University of Arizona will acquire Ashford University

Dave Wells, Ph.D., Research Director at Grand Canyon Institute, joined Arizona Horizon to discuss University of Arizona’s acquisition of Ashford University for their Global Campus. 

The University of Arizona Global Campus will be a nonprofit institution in affiliation with the university.

Wells explained it was not likely to be a large factor in the university’s budget deficit. 

UofA said the Global Campus will bring a financially positive impact to the university. 

Wells shared that the university will need to invest to see a good future potential.
