Latest from the war in Ukraine

More from this show

Reportedly on Feb. 28, 2025, a heated argument broke out between U.S. President Donald Trump, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. Vice President JD Vance in the White House Oval Office. Dr. Evelyn Farkas, Executive Director at the McCain Institute, joined us to discuss.

The confrontation occurred before a deal was supposed to be made between Ukraine and the United States. In this deal, Ukraine would give the U.S. critical minerals in exchange for unspecified help in dealing with Russia’s invasion.

President Trump and Vice President Vance accused Zelenskyy of being “disrespectful,” ungrateful and of gambling with starting a global war.
