Record High Gas Prices; Veterans’ Writing Circle; Colon Cancer Clinic

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we hear from Dennis Hoffman, from ASU’s Center for Competitiveness and Prosperity Research, on how regular gas prices have hit a record high. Ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran has caused the price of oil to increase, leading to a jump in cost at the pump.

We also sit down with Dr. Jewel Samadder, director of the Mayo clinic, to learn more about colon cancer. Mayo Clinic Arizona has one of the only early-onset colon cancer clinics in the country.

Michelle Loposky, U.S. Army Veteran, and the director of Development and Strategic Partnerships at Pat Tillman Veterans Center at ASU, sat down with “Arizona Horizon” to discuss ASU’s Veterans’ Writing Circle. She said the group of veterans meet twice a month to enhance their writing skills.
