On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” Dr. Rachna Shroff sat down to discuss a new FDA-approved pancreatic cancer drug. Rasonque was approved for patients who have already tried other treatment options.
We also heard from Will Humble, Executive Director of the Arizona Public Health Association, who discussed the potential impact of President Donald Trump’s nomination of Dr. Heidi Overton who has already voiced concern about the safety of the domestic food supply.
Finally, Ann O’Brien, Phoenix City Councilmember, discussed the City of Phoenix’s plans to mark 25 years since the 9/11 attacks. A panel discussion between members of Arizona Task Force 1 and Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leaders will provide an opportunity for the youth to learn from firsthand accounts of the tragedy.
