ASU recently awarded the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law’s Immigration Law and Policy Clinic the 2007 President’s Medal for Social Embeddedness. The clinic addresses the lack of immigration services in Arizona by training students to help battered children get immigration relief. HORIZONTE’s Jose Cardenas talks to Evelyn Cruz, ASU Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the Immigration Law and Policy Clinic about the clinic’s curriculum.
