La Virgencita

More from this show

For many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans, Our Lady of Guadalupe is a celebration of Mexican identity and the Catholic community. Celebrations typically begin the night of December 11 and the religious feast day is celebrated December 12. “La Virgencita” is an exhibition here in the Valley honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe. Here with us to talk about this exhibition is Samuel Gomez of Sagrado Galleria, and Diana Calderon, an artist with her works in the exhibition.
