PROGRAMMING NOTE: State of the Union coverage Feb. 5

President Trump is scheduled to deliver the 2019 State of the Union address live Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. It is scheduled to be addressed to the 116th Congress, and will be Trump’s second State of the Union address and his third speech to a joint session of the United States Congress.

Live coverage of the State of the Union address will be followed by the Democratic response and analysis from the PBS NewsHour team.

Ted Simons hosts a special Arizona Horizon at 10 p.m. featuring Arizona reaction and analysis from across the political spectrum.

To accommodate this coverage, our schedule for Feb. 5 will be as follows:

5 p.m.: Cronkite News

5:30 p.m.: Arizona Horizon

6 p.m.: PBS NewsHour

7 p.m.: State of the Union address, followed by the Democratic response and PBS NewsHour analysis

9 p.m.: Finding Your Roots “Freedom Tales,” a new episode

10 p.m.: Arizona Horizon special analysis

10:30 p.m.: Nightly Business Report

11 p.m.: Cronkite News
