‘The Chaperone’ special screening at Harkins Shea 14, April 9-14

PBS Distribution and MASTERPIECE FILMS present a special screening of “The Chaperone” at Harkins Shea 14 in Scottsdale from April 9-14.

Reuniting “Downtown Abbey” star Elizabeth McGovern with writer Julian Fellows, and featuring Haley Lu Richardson, the film follows Louise Brooks, the 1920s silver-screen sensation who never met a rule she didn’t break.

When a young Louise (Richardson) joins forces with the conventional society matron Norma Carlisle (McGovern) for a summer trip to New York, they surprise each other – and themselves — with the lessons they learn along the way.

Blythe Danner and Miranda Otto round out the cast, directed by Michael Engler. Secure your tickets here.
