Maricopa County election audit, SAVE Act, League of Arizona Cities and Towns Conference

More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we heard from Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes on the 2020 Maricopa County election audit after State Senate President Warren Petersen tweeted he complied with an FBI subpoena to turn over records related to the 2020 Maricopa County election.

Also, we discussed the SAVE America Act, which may make voting difficult for some members of the community, for example those with disabilities, as the act would require people to register to vote in person.

Finally, we heard from Mayor of Chandler Kevin Hartke about the Arizona League of Cities and Towns, which aims to promote local self-government and municipal independence in the state of Arizona.
