ASU’s new studies on the science of sweating

More from this show

A new ASU research study found more information on nature’s cooling system, sweating. The study discovered more about how sweating cools the body in hot, dry climates, much like the weather in Arizona. Understanding the mechanics of sweating helps scientists recommend safety guidelines for heat stress.

Konrad Rykaczewski, Associate Professor of Engineering at ASU, joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss the study’s findings and how it impacts previous understandings.
