As relevant today as when he exploded on the scene with his group, Brasil ’66, Mendes played a huge role in popularizing Brazilian music around the world and fused Brazilian music with American pop to create a new genre. Featuring appearances from Herb Alpert, Common, Quincy Jones, John Legend and more.
