A Capitol Fourth 2023

Tuesday, July 4 at 7 p.m.

“A Capitol Fourth” is the nation’s premier Independence Day celebration with all-star musical performances from top pop, rock, country and Broadway artists from sea to shining sea, stirring patriotic favorites, and capped off with spectacular fireworks over our nation’s iconic skyline.

This year, “A Capitol Fourth” welcomes iconic actor and television host Alfonso Ribeiro to lead the 43rd annual celebration. See performances by Chicago, Boyz II Men, Belinda Carlisle, Babyface, Maddie & Tae, Charles Esten, Renée Fleming, Adrienne Warren, with Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street! And don’t miss the Northwell Nurse Choir and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of premier pops conductor Jack Everly.

For more than 40 years, this star-spangled television special has brought us together to honor our strengths, freedoms and democratic ideals and to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
