Arizona poverty rate dips slightly

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau indicates the percentage of Arizonans living in poverty dipped slightly in 2018 to 14% from 14.9% 2017. However, the state remains one of the 15th poorest in the country and the second poorest among neighboring states. We hear more about that and programs in the safety net that are facing cuts from David Lujan, director of the Arizona Center for Economic Progress.
