Lung injury caused by vaping may be due to toxic chemical fumes

A new study by the Mayo Clinic of 17 patients with lungs injured by vaping finds the cause may be due to chemicals, and not lipids, which are fatty substances such as mineral oil, as has been suspected. Dr. Yasmeen Butt, a pulmonary pathologist at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and one of the lead authors of the study, tells us more.
