Wanda Wright inducted into Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame

Colonel Wanda Wright, the first African American woman to achieve the rank of Colonel in the Arizona National Guard and currently a Director at ASU’s Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement, has been inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society (AVHOFS).

This honor recognizes her significant contributions to Arizona’s Veteran community. Established in 2007, AVHOFS honors Veterans who have made notable achievements beyond their military service. Colonel Wright’s induction highlights her impactful career and ongoing dedication to Veterans.
