Hacks for Humanity

Another “Hacks for Humanity,” sponsored by Project Humanities at Arizona State University, is coming up soon. It’s a 36-hour hackathon for social good, with participants working on coming up with technologies to address local and global issues. The finished products must embody seven Humanity 101 principles: kindness, compassion, integrity, respect, empathy, forgiveness, and self-reflection. Up to 200 people are expected to participate in the project, taking place October 19 and 20. We hear more from ASU foundation professor Neal Lester, founding director of Project Humanities.
