The Woman in White
If you’ve heard of Twilight, you probably already have an idea of what Gothic fiction is, but have you ever heard of the Woman in White? It tells the story of a ghostly woman all dressed in white who has a dark secret and a young man who falls for her spell. Published in 1859, it is considered one of the first mystery novels and “sensation novels.” Watch to learn why the story captivated so many people.

American Experience | The Great War

At-Home Learning Tips

Make Home Routines Educational
Encourage your kids to take breaks from watching television to engage in other activities, such as helping you cook, sorting and folding laundry, or playing a board game.
