See how art exhibit started as a Kickstarter campaign

More from this show

Squid Soup is a collective of artists who create interactive exhibitions all around the world. Their newest exhibition “Murmuration” at SMoCA (Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art) is unusual in that it was done through a Kickstarter campaign. Patrons could “sponsor” at different levels and in essence become a part of the art work. We will see what it takes to build this exhibition, why it’s important to engage the community in art projects, and see the final installation.
