More from this show

“The High Mountains of Portugal” tells the story of a young man, Tomás, who embarks on a journey to find a treasure indicated in an old journal he found.

Then the novel flashes to thirty-five years later as a pathologist follows Tomás’ journey.

Fifty years later, a Canadian senator continues the quest with his companion, a chimpanzee.

“The High Mountains of Portugal” is a story of time and journeys through Portugal and the human soul.
