GEAR UP strives to significantly increase the number of first-generation students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. ASU GEAR UP, funded through the U.S. Department of Education, serves the class of 2024 cohort at Glendale High School, Tempe High School, Tolleson Union High School, Washington High School and Westwood High School.
