Rep. Gallego stresses cohesive strategy in Afghanistan

Arizona Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego has been one of many harsh critics of President Donald Trump. Gallego discusses the war in Afghanistan with “Arizona Horizon” host Ted Simons, noting the need for a cohesive strategy.

“I just fear that we’re just going to continue to put more and more military personnel in Afghanistan and hoping that things will change when the fact that the fundamentals have not,” Gallego said.

Gallego discusses the use of private contractors in Afghanistan as well as the president’s upcoming visit to Phoenix.
