‘Catalyst’ features a seed vault located in the desert

One of the largest seed vaults in the world is located in the Arctic, where thousands of seed varieties are stored in case of a crisis that wipes out plants important for humankind’s survival. As we preview the latest episode of the Arizona PBS show “Catalyst: Shaping the Future,” we’ll take a look at a smaller seed vault located in the Arizona desert.
