Shortly after he was diagnosed with brain cancer last year, Senator John McCain expressed a desire to see a plan come to fruition to revitalize the Salt River in the Phoenix area. Mesa Mayor John Giles, who served as an intern for McCain, talks about plans to see water running down the dry Salt River bed again.
