Napolitano Weighs in on Kavanaugh Nomination

More from this show

During the confirmation hearing for United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in 1991, a report was leaked that he allegedly made unwanted sexual comments to Anita Hill, a professor who had worked under Thomas at two federal agencies. Both Thomas and Hill were called to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, with Thomas eventually being confirmed by the full senate. We get comments on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination and its similarities to the Thomas hearing from Janet Napolitano, former Arizona Governor and current President of the University of California, who represented Hill.
