Turning classical music inside out at Mesa Arts Center

More from this show

The Mesa Arts Center will host performances with the goal of turning classical music inside out, making the music accessible to everyone and keeping it relevant in a genre that can feel historic or distant.

Part of the program is to take classical music outside the concert hall and into schools, libraries, restaurants and other places like hospitals. We’ll hear more from Grammy-award winning cellist and series artistic director Zuill Bailey. We’ll also hear a performance from a string quartet that is part of the program.
