Eviction Diversion Pilot Program; school voucher reimbursement; Medicare for All

More from this show

On “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed a new effort funded by Maricopa County to help individuals who have fallen behind on rent payments who may face potential evictions with Kate Brophy McGee, Chair of Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.

We also learned about how Arizona will erase a school voucher oversight requirement, meaning parents will no longer need to link school supplies to a specific curriculum for ESA reimbursement. We discussed the adjusted rules for school voucher reimbursement with Jon Riches, Vice President for Litigation and General Counsel at the Goldwater Institute’s Scharf-Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation.

Finally, we heard from Dr. Swapna Reddy, an Assistant Dean and Clinical Professor at the College of Health Solutions at ASU, about how Medicare for All could change health care in the United States.
