An advisory panel appointed by Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon has recommended revisions to Phoenix Police Department’s Immigration Enforcement Policy (Operations Order 1.4). All people arrested or suspected of committing a state or local crime in Phoenix will be asked about their immigration status. HORIZONTE discusses proposed policy changes with appointed advisory panelists Paul Charlton and José de Jesus Rivera.
