Mayors Share Their Hope for America’s Next 250 Years

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, the question of what comes next feels more important than ever.

On the set of “Check, Please! Arizona,” we asked the mayors of Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler to reflect on a powerful question for our America 250 campaign: What is your hope for America in the next 250 years?

Their answers offer thoughtful perspectives shaped by leadership, service and a deep connection to their communities. From unity and opportunity to civic responsibility and shared values, each mayor reflects on what it will take to ensure a strong, inclusive future for generations to come.
