Webinar series: Teaching with ‘Molly of Denali’

Many of us have already fallen in love with Molly of Denali – a pint-sized bundle of joy, from a small village in Alaska, who uses a vlog to share her daily adventures. If you haven’t met Molly, you should know: she is curious! And, she’s never far from a question that can’t be investigated using informational text – the show’s main learning objective. The best part? Those same stories that make families laugh together in the living room can be easily transformed into lessons that help children learn together in the classroom.

Join us to explore the world of Molly of Denali, a multi-layered show that blends the educational goals of informational text, cultural representation, social-emotional skills, and subject-related knowledge in science and social studies. In this three part virtual professional learning series for educators and caregivers, we’ll uncover easy and fun ways to use Molly to teach complex concepts like informational text and cultural responsiveness. So join us and Molly on an adventure, and discover the top reasons to teach with Molly.
