Celebrate the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, a uniquely American band

Celebrate the groundbreaking band’s musical milestones and hits along with special guests Vince Gill, John Prine, Jackson Browne, Alison Krauss and more, all filmed in Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band: 50 Years and Circlin’ Back” airs on Arizona PBS on Saturday, June 6 at 5:30 p.m. and encores Sunday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m.

For 50 years the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has stood at the forefront of American music, delivering top ten hits on both the pop and country charts, including their groundbreaking, Grammy® Hall of Fame triple album, “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” (1972)  — a true mark on the American musical landscape.
