Broadcast every Tuesday at 7pm, Arizona Encore showcases premier performances from throughout the state. This month we celebrate Arizona’s premier winter music festival, Arizona Musicfest, with some of the greatest hits from past concerts.

February 5
We kick off the Arizona Musicfest series with music from the Renaissance and Baroque. Enjoy performances from the American Brass Quintet, New York Polyphony and the Arizona Musicfest Festival Orchestra.

The Arizona Musicfest series continues with an all-Mozart program. Pianist Bryan Wallick joins the Festival Orchestra for the Piano Concerto in C Major.

February 19
Maestro Robert Moody leads the Festival Orchestra in a selection of contemporary works. Features an interview with principal cellist Brant Taylor, who is a featured soloist alongside fellow cellist Brian Thorton.

With five tunes in all, the number five takes center stage as the Festival Orchestra performs a few famous fifths and a pair of pieces from five guys that make up the American Brass Quintet!
