Journalist Amy Silverman is an Arizona local.

She is the managing editor at Phoenix News Times and a commentator for NPR affiliate KJZZ. Her work has appeared in The New York Times and on NPR’s “This American Life.” She graduated with a master’s in journalism from Columbia University.
