‘AZ Votes 2024’ live special on key ballot propositions

More from this show

In this “AZ Votes 2024” live election special, we discussed the two biggest propositions on the November ballot and how they will impact Arizona voters and the state itself.

Ted Simons, host and managing editor of “Arizona Horizon,” moderated a discussion between political analysts about the impact of Proposition 314, Arizona’s immigration measure. They discussed not only the electorate on election day but also the impact if it passes.

Wes Gullet, partner at Nexus Strategy Group, Alejandra Gomez, Executive Director at Living United for Change Arizona (LUCHA), and Dr. Edward Vargas, ASU Professor at the School of Transborder Studies, joined the discussion.

Catherina Anaya, host of “Horizonte,” moderated a discussion between political analysts about the impact of Proposition 139, Arizona’s abortion measure. They discussed the impact the measure will have in driving voters to the polls, but also the impact if it passes.

Meghan Cox, Chief Executive Officer at the Impact Advocacy Group, Dr. Sharon Thompson, MD, MPH, FACOG, Managing Director at Central Phoenix Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Stacy Pearson, Co-Founder of Lumen Strategies Arizona, joined that discussion.

A live studio audience was also present to ask questions of the panelists.
