Civil War Days at Vulture City Ghost Town

The annual “Civil War Days” event is coming up! Learn about the history of the Civil War Western theater and watch Civil War battle reenactments. We also have an Apache war reenactment involving local Apache tribal re-enactors.
There will be North and South camp setups so come see how they lived and slept during the war! There will be black powder rifle demonstrations on how they work and how they were loaded, and of course tour an authentic old west ghost town with 16 buildings and the infamous hanging tree that started in 1863, watch a blacksmith demonstration and let us teach you how to pan for gold!
This public, interactive community calendar is a reflection of the many communities across our state. While we act as a public square where divergent ideas and perspectives are welcomed, we can only provide a space for civil discourse at events we host. Events on the calendar are provided as informational only and may or may not reflect our commitment to our communities.
