FREE career resource fair and film screening event

Arizona PBS is hosting a FREE career resource fair and film screening event on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Phoenix. Sponsored by Gateway Community College, various community partners offering services related to career advancement will be present to connect with attendees and share resources. And our event emcee will be “Horizonte” host Catherine Anava!
Attendees will also have an opportunity to watch segments of Arizona PBS’ upcoming workforce-related programming, including a “Horizonte” special and “Working Forward,” a new series that explores workplace issues in today’s society.
About “Working Forward”
This five-episode series features short documentaries examining pressing issues facing the workforce nationwide and specifically in the Arizona job market. Through the lens of the films, witness individuals strive to overcome barriers and find meaningful solutions. Hosted by Kathleen Bade, each episode combines documentary storytelling with insightful conversations from community leaders, filmmakers and various people in different fields that make up Arizona’s workforce.
