“Check, Please! Arizona” is back for Season 13 with Chef Mark Tarbell starting Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026.

Three guests enjoy French cuisine at Sel Restaurant where the husband-chef serves innovative dishes inspired by his world travels and his hospitality-driven wife makes sure the experience is crafted to perfection.

Also, a mother and son team share their spicy Creole family recipes from CC’s on Central. And learn about 60 years of traditional Mexican fare at Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina.

“Check, Please! Arizona” places the spotlight on locally-owned and independent Arizona restaurants. In each episode, three guests share their dining experiences and recommendations with one another, creating an authentic and insightful review of the diverse culinary offerings in the state.

Led by Tarbell, a veteran restaurateur, the conversations offer an informed and engaging look at Arizona’s dynamic food scene. The new season features lively discussions, authentic recommendations about Arizona restaurants and a deeper dive into the flavors shaping the state’s culinary identity.
