Ali Noorani is the Executive Director of the National Immigration Forum, and he has written a new book on the issues communities face in dealing with the reality of new immigrants and the changing nature of American identity. For his book, “There Goes the Neighborhood: How Communities Overcome Prejudice and Meet the Challenge of American Immigration” Noorani interviewed nearly fifty local and national leaders to show the challenges and opportunities they face.
