Company promises cheaper power from Navajo Generating Station

A company seeking to buy the Navajo Generating Station and operate it beyond it’s 2019 slated closure says it can sell power from the plant at a much cheaper price. However, that is leading to concerns that Avenue Capital and Middle River Power might cut costs at the plant, and the company has announced plans to operate it at reduced capacity.
