Calls to a locally-based child abuse hotline jumped 31% last month

Calls to the locally-based child abuse hotline last month jumped 31% from the same time last year. The numbers are from a National Hotline run by Scottsdale-based child help. It is the nations leading non-profit in the fight against child abuse and neglect. Allysa Adams talked to the founder of Childhelp, Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson. They are two former Hollywood actresses who met on the set of “The Adventure of Ozzie and Harriet.”
