Latest summer movies and TV shows to watch

More from this show

As stay-at-home orders extend into summer, many people are getting bored at home and looking for new ways to stay entertained. Arizona Republic columnist Bill Goodykoontz has the perfect updated summer bucket list for all the movies and TV shows you need to see.

According to Goodykoontz the best bang for your buck streaming service right now is Disney+ at $6.99 a month. Currently, on the platform, you can watch the hit Broadway show “Hamilton”, the ever so popular series “The Mandalorian” and others. The platform is suggested to have approximately 7,000 television episodes and 500 films.

If your looking for a good binge-worthy show Goodykoontz says you should watch Perry Mason. The series on HBO set in 1932 Los Angeles, focuses on the origin story of famed defense lawyer Perry Mason.

You can check out more of Goodykoontz’s recommendations here.
