Attorney General’s Office Investigates Fake Electors

Next Monday, Attorney Kenneth Chesebro will come to Arizona on Monday to meet with Attorney General Kris Mayes to discuss the ongoing investigation concerning fake electors in Arizona. He has been recognized as the head of the scheme to have fake electors in seven states in order to exemplify the claim that Trump won over Biden in 2020, Sanchez said.

“Having him please guilty in Georgia in that massive racketeering case is a big deal. Following that, he has kind of been doing what seems like a whistle-stop tour, going around and talking to prosecutors and cooperating,” Small said.

Kris Mayes launched this investigation when she took office in January, meaning Arizona may be a year or two behind in this compared to other states, according to Small.

These fake electors include a couple of lawmakers, and these people have the potential to find out relatively soon what will happen.

“I think this really shows the expansion and the way that this investigation is involved since Kris Mayes started. It seems like it kind of started with narrow focus here in Arizona, these 11 fake electors, then you saw it gradually expand looking at other states,” Duda said.

It’s as though there’s a bigger picture or conspiracy being brought into focus, with prevalent questions regarding who is pulling the strings or calling the shots, according to Duda.
