Rainbows Festival 2024

More from this show

Jeremy Helfgot from J.M. Helfgot Communications joined us to discuss the Rainbows Festival, which is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

Offering a welcoming and secure environment for people to express who they truly are, the Rainbows Festival is Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, at historic Heritage Square District in downtown Phoenix. The Rainbows Festival, founded in 2002 and produced by Phoenix Pride since 2012, is the second largest LGBTQ+ event in Arizona, after the annual Phoenix Pride Festival each October.

In addition, Helfgot also discussed SB 1511, Senator Janae Shamp’s bill mandating health insurers to pay for reversal care for gender affirming treatments, which, in Helfgot’s opinion, is a blatant attempt to delegitimize and marginalize transgender persons.
