More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” Craig Harris, an investigative reporter with 12 News, joined us to discuss the recent fraud uncovered in Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program, after $1.2 million of unallowable purchases were made through the program, according to public records.

Also, we will discuss Arizona’s universal voucher program with Beth Lewis, Executive Director at Save Our Schools Arizona. Various education advocacy groups are looking to reform this program, as they say the reforms are necessary to pull back on the $1 billion being spent on Arizona’s voucher program.

Finally, we will hear from Kelly McGowan, Executive Director at Wildfire, about two new bills aimed to prevent mobile home residents from being overcharged for utilities.
