State of the Union; Cancer survival rate rises; ‘Arizona Boots and Burgers’

More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we will discuss President Trump’s first State of the Union address of his second term, given on February 24. The address gave President Trump the chance to shape the GOP’s message to voters going into the upcoming midterm election.

Wes Gullett, a partner of Nexus Strategy Group, and Stacy Pearson, the co-founder of Lumen Strategies, joined us to discuss the speech and what it means for the midterm election.

Also, we will review a report from The American Cancer Society, showing that the five-year relative survival rate for cancer reached 70% for people diagnosed between 2015 to 2021.

Finally, we will hear from Roger Naylor, introducing his new book “Arizona Boots and Burgers: A Guide for Hungry Hikers,” which mentions his top picks for dining after hiking through Arizona’s trails.
