New strikes in Iran War; Arizona Democrats lead in polling numbers; coal mining in Navajo Nation

New polls from HighGround Inc. show Arizona Democrats in the lead before early voting starts in six weeks. The survey shows Governor Katie Hobbs with a 15-point advantage in the Governor’s race. It also shows Secretary of State Adrian Fontes in an eight-point lead and Kris Mayes with an eight-point lead for Attorney General. The Trump Administration has approved a new plan that would allow Navajo Nation to continue coal mining until the year 2136. This is part of President Donald Trump’s plan to bring the power of the coal industry back to the U.S. Gabriel Pietrorazio, Senior Broadcast Field Correspondent at KJZZ, joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss the new plan.
