Internationally acclaimed conductor joins Phoenix Symphony as new director

Paolo Bortolameolli, an internationally acclaimed conductor, will serve as music director designate during the 2026–27 season and become music director with the 2027–28 season for the Phoenix Symphony. Bortolameolli will be the 12th music director in the orchestra’s nearly 80 year history. He will lead five programs and open the Symphony’s 2026-27 season.

Bortolameolli joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss his goals for the next Phoenix Symphony season.
