ASU Borderlands Professorship

Arizona State University announced that Phoenix New Times founders Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey will use proceeds from a lawsuit settlement against Sheriff Joe Arpaio to establish a new journalism faculty position for border and immigration issues. The $2 million gift will go toward creating an endowed chair at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Christopher Callahan, dean of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication talks about the program.
