The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project

More from this show

In December, the Trump Administration started it’s “Remain In Mexico” policy, which forces asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their immigration claims are processed. We’ll discuss The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, the only organization Arizona that provides free social and legal services to detainees under the threat of deportation. We’ll be joined by Anthony Pelino, managing attorney with the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project to talk about the asylum process at the border.
